What is Awana?
AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed”, and is based on the key scripture II Timothy 2:15. Awana teaches children that God is real, He loves them, and He has expressed that love through His Son, Jesus Christ. Each week your child will experience segments such as handbook time, game time, and large group time for start-to-finish excitement throughout the night. Theme nights, special incentives and awards, and special events are also infused throughout the club year, so there is always something new. The core of the Awana program is the Bible, God’s Holy Word.
“Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Psalm 119:11
What is the goal of Awana at EABC?
Our goal is to come along-side children and parents alike, and help them grow deeper in their understanding of God’s Word. We want to see children become the world-changing disciples God created them to be…in their backyards, schools, and beyond!
